Pros: 1440p 170hzFreesync and GsyncHifi audio Aim StabilizerScreen and colors are greatRGB accents on the back Cons: Stand takes up desk space (not too much but it goes into my desk mat area) Overall Review: I’m not a pro reviewer, just an average guy that wants to enjoy some bells ans whistles while gaming. So if you looking for indepth specs this review is probably not going to cut it for you. But if you just looking for a monitor and wondering what a random average internet gamer has to say about this money pit, you are in the right place!I been looking for a big size monitor for a while now. The G9 was on my list, but decided it was too much for my graphics card to handle. G7 looked like a go, but something held me back from pulling the trigger. Then this got on my radar thanks to LTT. I was also looking for a DAC at the time this was on preorder, read about their hifi audio and finally got the sign of the computer spirits to throw Aorus my money. I was worried 32 inch was going to be too big of a change, but once it was setup and I went through my usual FPS games (cs:go, valorant, warzone and overwatch) and also some cyberpunk all at 1440p and all my buyer regrets went out the window! I used to bounce around 3 different displays to get my desired satisfaction depending on the game. Played cyberpunk on my 4k 65inch tv at 1440p so I can appreciate Night City and still be playable (45-60 fps)My 25x for COD warzone/zombies to have a good mix of screen size and 144hz refresh. Then a portable 13″ monitor for that 165hz and quick response. Usually for cs:go and valorant as I feel as my shots register better on it. (Originally bought it for my ps4 and realized it was great at fps games)This monitor is the happy medium of all those displays and then some!Loved the feel of playing my fps at higher res plus still maintaining decent fps. Overwatch was not maxing out the 170 as I was on epic, but valorant and cs:go got a nice uplift graphics wise at 1440p while not sacrificing responsiveness. I tested out the aim stabilizer function and I’m no professional reviewer, but it seem to help a little although you will have to sacrifice a little brightness to achieve that. Colors look great almost as nice as my 4k tv and wayyyy better than the 25x and portable monitor. (Side note: colors looks pretty decent given it’s just a portable monitor)And to top it off I just bought a 990 pro with a DAC and the monitor’s hifi audio works just as good, possibly even better if I tinker with it a bit more. But I’m so satisfied with it i may even return the DAC as I plan to only use it with my computer and this monitors audio is good enough for my taste. And yes theres RGB on the stand and back of the monitor. That maybe a dealbreaker for some, but it isnt too bright and doesnt bother me much other than its a pain to get RGB 2.0 to recognize it and sync with my mother board. (Havent got it to work correctly yet, but it doesnt bother me all that much)Is it worth it for the price? That’s up in the air. Is it a great monitor with plenty of bells and whistles? YES! And I’m not looking back! Game on gamers!

Pros: -Excellent 170Hz experience, and variable refresh rate works well -Great colors, viewing angles, and pixel response times -The 32 inch screen size is quite immersive -Built-in resolution scaler lets you pick resolutions higher than 1440p (up to 4K) to be down-sampled to this display, which is excellent for consoles like the PS5 which don’t have a 1440p output option or if you want a super-sampled image -Incredibly feature rich, lots of dials and knobs to play with in the OSD to tweak the picture -Decent audio quality and control -Low input lag -Adequate I/O options, and VRR supported over both HDMI and DP Cons: -Aim Stabilizer (i.e. Black Frame Insertion or Backlight Strobing) doesn’t work outside a narrow window, doesn’t allow for fixed refresh rates, and doesn’t support 60Hz content (like consoles) -Aim Stabilizer also has some color banding and/or minor cross-talk, which while making the image less blurry in motion, does introduce its own set of visual artifacts which may or may not be worse than the original picture depending on your sensitivity or tastes -Local Backlight Dimming seems aggressive, with no option to tweak (only AUTO and OFF), which can be quite distracting, inconsistent and random -The inclusion of HDR 400 is superficial at best, as the backlight brightness is too low for a good HDR experience (400 nits) and the panel has no backlight array zones to allow for a gradient across the screen – The ‘Balanced’ and ‘Speed’ overdrive options seem to work best at >90Hz, where when falling below this threshold ‘Picture Quality’ is the more ideal option as noticeable ghosting/smear/overshoot can be seen on some transitions– so depending on the game or content, you may need to change the overdrive setting. The “Smart OD” feature doesn’t seem to do anything, as far as I can tell -I could not for the life of me get the OSD side-kick to work, the software simply asks to check if the USB cable is plugged in when I start up the software, and restarting the computer just causes the computer to get stuck on the shutting down and starting up screens– unplugging the USB cable going to the monitor and uninstalling the software allows windows to complete the shutdown and startup sequences as normal Overall Review: I have been looking for a good gaming monitor for some time now, to replace my aging AOC 144Hz TN panel. I’ve been avoiding OLED (my previous LG TV had some burn-in) and VA panels (due to black level smearing), and these new Fast IPS panels seemed like a good compromise between pixel response time and image quality. In that regard, this panel exceeds my expectations. The motion clarity this monitor provides is absolutely amazing. If you have the hardware to keep both the resolution and frame rates high, this monitor does not disappoint. Almost by every metric, this panel is better than a TN, and the pixel response times seem quite comparable, which is crazy considering this is an IPS-type screen. I would state that the issues I’ve had with this monitor are mostly minor or don’t necessarily impede my use. It would have been nice to be able to use the software OSD, but the OSD functions built into the monitor work just fine. And since I mostly run or try to run my games at >90Hz, I don’t have to worry too much about playing with the overdrive settings. I just keep it on the balanced preset, which is more than sufficient. The monitor also lets you save up to 3 presets, if you plan on switching content or inputs that may require OSD tweaking. I also bought this monitor knowing the HDR would be inadequate– which is fine. I didn’t really buy it for that purpose, and considering the price, I wouldn’t expect a high level of HDR fidelity. For pure high-refresh gaming, this is the best monitor I’ve owned yet.

Pros: Very great visuals and support for usb and 3.5mm support for extra devices. No ethernet support if needed for non-ethernet port laptops. Cons: False advertising of HD audio when its only for 3.5mm/usb support. Monitor has difficulty changing settings for its display where it will completely black out, restart, and close the settings popup to do so. At times, the screen gets stuck at completely black and need to force shutdown the monitor to reset it. Occasionally, my PC has to readjust its multi-monitor support as the connection of thinking the monitor is connected is disconnected and all screens refresh (same as when adding in a new monitor). Overall Review: A great monitor with amazing visuals and refresh rate. If looking for a monitor with built-in speakers, this does not have it. I would recommend it if you already have or not need external speakers.
