My Ziyoulang K6 shows up over Bluetooth, or the 2.4G receiver is plugged in, but the keyboard will not type. USB-C sometimes works, the lights still come on, and the shortcuts I found online do not match my card.

Start with a wired typing test before you reset anything. If the K6 types over a known USB-C data cable, the keyboard is alive and the problem is likely connection mode, a Bluetooth slot, the 2.4G receiver, the battery, or the host device. If it will not type over USB-C with two data cables and two ports, treat that as a cable, port, power, or keyboard fault first.

Ziyoulang K6 bundles are not always identical. Use the shortcut card that came with your keyboard before trusting a random K6 shortcut list online.

Try this in order:

  1. Charge the keyboard for a while, then switch it on.
  2. Connect it with a USB-C data cable, open Notepad or another plain text box, and press normal letter keys.
  3. If USB-C works, test only one wireless path at a time.
  4. For 2.4G, plug the receiver directly into the computer and try the 2.4G shortcut from your card. On many K6 units this is Fn + 4.
  5. For Bluetooth, remove the old K6 entry from the computer or phone, choose one Bluetooth slot from the card, put that slot back into pairing mode, and pair again.
  6. If the keyboard types but modifier keys are wrong, switch Windows/Mac mode using the shortcut printed on your card.
  7. Use the reset shortcut only after the wired test works and both wireless paths still fail.

Do not install Keychron firmware, random remapping tools, or drivers for another K6 model. Similar names do not mean compatible firmware. The goal is to prove one path at a time: USB-C typing, then 2.4G, then Bluetooth, then mode/reset only if the earlier path is clear.

If you ask for help, include the keyboard layout photo, the shortcut card, whether USB-C typing works, whether the receiver is present, the Bluetooth device name shown, and the device/operating system you are pairing with. Hide order numbers, account names, and serial-style labels in public screenshots.

Stop here if USB-C never types with a known data cable, the receiver is missing, Bluetooth pairs and disconnects on every device, only one row or group of keys fails, or the reset shortcut changed the behavior and you cannot get back into pairing mode.
