I hadn’t purchased a new TV in close to a decade. I never bought into the 4k/UHD/retina display hype of products, but this TV look amazing! We actually turned down the brightness level most of the time because it’s too good at night. Our only complaint is the wireless signal. We had a roku stick previously and find that we’re buffering on shows a lot more than we used to. Either the wireless antenna is not as good or the amount of bandwidth is so much higher that we’re going to have to run a physical network cable from the router to try and get rid of that issue.

Pros: This Tv is really bright and has vivid colors. I use the normal profile with 100% backlight and motion smoothing on. Really smooth picture with vivid colors and deep blacks. My particular panel had really good gray uniformity which might vary based on your panel luck. Cons: Blacks are only good if you look directly at it. Side view of the tv exposes blooming from the full array system. Colors get washed out when viewing from the side. Roku isn’t my favorite operating system but its acceptable. Overall Review: Excellent tv if you are looking to game or watch movies in a direct setting. I’d recommend for dorms or bedrooms where the TV is directly in front of viewer. It is as close to OLED that you can get at this price.

Pros: Large Cons: Blacks are extremely bad and flowering on the corners. Overall Review: I should have taken the review above mine seriously. I do not recommend this TV to anyone

This has a very nice picture and if you do not like the look from out of the box it is easy to make adjustments more to your liking. The upscale from your local TV channels, or any others, to 4K is pretty impressive. 4K movies look pretty darned good and if you have an 4K av receiver, the Dolby Atmos sound is incredible. If you use the TV’s own speakers, they sound pretty good also. My only complaint is that the HDMI cables are to close to the USB port. Everything is kind of cramped. Still, I give this set 5 stars and would buy again.
