Pros: – Unlocked, just had to pop sim card in (worked with Canada’s Koodo network) – Long battery life and fast charging – Light weight (plastic), comfortable in the hand – Good screen quality and size, responsive – Works great with Android Nougat (including the multi-tasking feature) – Fingerprint sensor works very fast – Camera good quality, slow-mo works fine Cons: – Slightly slippery (no grip) – The charger included is for European sockets – No warranty – Feels fragile/vulnerable to drops – Miracast support disabled (unless you root) Overall Review: – Uses Type C USB… faster charging and it comes with Type C adapter plug to regular micro USB – Requires Nano sim card – No external SD card – Fast delivery If you liked the Nexus 6P but you’re put off by its huge size because you don’t have giant hands, or want something that actually fits in your pocket this phone is definitely for you. I upgraded from the Nexus 5 (which I absolutely loved) and this Nexus 5X truly lives up to its predecessor and goes beyond with its bigger screen, better camera, better specs, fingerprint sensor, support from Android N, better battery life. Note: Miracast was disabled purposely by Google (unless you root).. this means your SmartTv may not natively be supported for screen mirroring and such without extra hardware. I found an App called Tubio which works around that to work with youtube and a few other medias. All in all, if you want a great bang for your buck… this is it.

Pros: – It’s a Nexus 5X. Take a look at any reviews for it, it’s a great mid-range phone – Transferring information and apps from one android phone to another is easy with Google’s built in transfer apps – Was receiving OS updates within a week for the latest version of andriod, great to stay ahead of the curve Cons: – HEADS UP: I received a European style wall charger for this phone, which obviously will not work if you live in the US. Because the Nexus has a USB type C charging port, all of your old phone chargers also will not work. They do send a small micro USB to USB C adapter, but definitely inconvienient and you’re probably looking at another $15 to buy a US charger for the phone. – From a design standpoint, I dislike that the camera sticks out the back of the phone, and rests on the surface of whatever you put it on. Without a case, it’s pretty easy to break the camera on this phone Overall Review: In the box, you’ll get: – The phone – A European style wall outlet to USB C adapter – A 2 foot USB C to USB C cable for use with the wall charger – A small micro USB to USB C adapter If you don’t have a super modern computer with USB C ports, I recommend picking up a few USB 3.0 to USB C cables.

Pros: Light Fast Good Camera Type-C Quickcharge (very handy for charging in a pinch) Good Fingerprint scanner Cons: Spotty Wi-fi reception at times Advertised 4k30FPS camera can barely handle that (1080p60 works great, however) Volume rocker feels cheap and gets worn decently fast Sub-par audio. Overall Review: This is a great product for the price, but with the new android updates (at the time of writing), it is starting to show its age; The reboot times are getting slower, and this isn’t a con for me, but it came with European Power brick (and US adapter), which takes up about 3 inches from your socket. (you can’t hide your charging plug)
