Pros: -Features for the price -HDR looks good for HDR400 -PIP and PBP work nice -USB 3.0 ports work nicely -Picture is clear HDR is picked up by my games -screen is huge Cons: the ui is very unresponsive at times. the OSD sidekick is trash. worked once and was able to adjust settings now I can’t even open it with error message “can’t find device” Out the box the picture needs adjusting, the presets don’t do a very good job getting the color right. Overall Review: -Don’t know how well my review will help upgrading from a 25″ ultrawide 60hz lg IPS monitor -the gigabyte monitor is wider than that ultrawide screen -mount is standard with height and up and down angle adjustment. doesn’t swivel or rotate. -be warned to get the G-sync to show up make sure the Freesync premium pro is enabled it wont show on the nvidia control panel unless it is enabled. -Don’t use super resolution, it made light reflections in games green and pixelated like a bad after effects render. – in my opinion black equalizer doesn’t do much. So far I like it. Luckily arrived with no damages from what I can see or dead pixels. not perfect but a good VA monitor for the price

Pros: My FPS performance has drastically increased since upgrading to this monitor. Came from a 75Hz ultrawide with freesync and the 165Hz is a massive difference. I am still surprising myself with the shots I am landing. The 2K resolution is plenty of pixels to enjoy and to not tax my video card too much to get 165 fps. The curve I wasn’t sure I would enjoy before buying it, but I got used to it quickly and do like it. Cons: Got banned from my favorite CS:S server on suspicion of cheating after upgrading. After a couple months of owning it, when the monitor wakes from sleep there is a vertical strip of missing back-lighting nearly every time. Turning it off and back on fixes it, but is inconvenient. Overall Review: *EDIT* There was a firmware update I performed with the OSD sidekick. Went from F03 to F09 and now the back-lighting issue is fixed! Updated review to 5 eggs!

Overall Review: Easy setup with a beautiful picture. G-Sync compatibility was quite effective. After a few months the right side backlights failed rendering the monitor useless. The Gigabyte RMA process so far has been sluggish with an RMA number, but no instructions, label or even an address to ship it to.

Pros: It’s big. Going from 22/24″ monitors to 32″ is like sitting front row at the theater. It’s bright, very bright, though I have a dark office. It defaults to 50% brightness and I like it more about 20%. Should be plenty bright for brighter areas. High refresh rate. Not sure yet I can tell the difference from 120 to 165Hz.. coming from 60 I’m blown away with just 120. But it’s a sort of Spinal Tap ‘it goes to 11’ thing. Stand is very nice and makes raising and lowering the display almost effortless. Games in HDR, 2K and 120Hz are amazing. It has a USB hub and can display your CPU/GPU/etc info and it has speakers, none of which I’m using so I can’t really speak to its usefulness. The on-screen controls are intuitive and easy to navigate. This display is on rtings dot com.. so there’s lots of good info about it there. Cons: For some reason every time I start my PC, or wake it from sleep, the monitor defaults back to 50% brightness. I haven’t figured out why and contacted Gigabyte asking for help. I’ll update this on why. I have a feeling it’s because I have HDR enabled. Update 7/25/21 Gigabyte says this is normal when HDR is enabled. Seems odd when a friend has a very similar monitor with HDR and his brightness setting stays where he sets it. Overall Review: Great monitor for the price. Very happy with it and enjoying games like they’re completely new.

Pros: -HUGE 165hz monitor -Great for gaming and watching movies Cons: -Persistent ghosting issue with darker colors especially on factory settings -Random black flicker from time to time on default setting Overall Review: I have owned this monitor for about a week as of typing this review. I have tried adjusting as much of the monitor’s settings as i could and even swapped the DVI cable to see about getting rid of the ghosting issue. When i found out about this issue, i can’t seem to stop noticing it, but whenever i move dark windows and play video games especially ones with a very high framerate, it feels like there is some sort of motion blur or ghosting of the darker colors which is somewhat distracting. Any tips or tricks would be helpful however i can’t seem to get my mind off of this issue.
