Pros: Received on time. came with a thumb drive and when I went to plug it in to install, it kept wanting to wipe and format the drive. I thought I was not going to get to use this. But I plugged the Dongle in and it worked without needing any install. The instructions were very precise on what to do but I did not have to do any of it. Just plug and play. Which is great due to my wifi on my lap top is toast. Overall Review: Surprise, great signal boost!

Pros: The bluetooth 5.0 connection works well for what I needed. I have Powerbeats Pro and they have a solid connection compared to the 4.0 USB bluetooth dongle I was using. The WIFI6 connects to my802.11ax router with ease and seems much faster than the 802.11ac PCI-e card I was using before. It’s not quite as fast as an ethernet connection, but it’s fast enough that I don’t feel like I have to run an ethernet cable through my house to my PC. Cons: The heatsink this thing comes with is quite bulky. My only available USB connection on my new board is just under where this hangs over… meaning the card is in it’s slot, but tilted slightly. My only other PCI-e slot was under my bulky video card. Just a slightly smaller heatsink would have made a huge difference. Non-gamers shouldn’t have the same problem. Overall Review: All things considered, I’m using this card, despite not actually having the room for it on my motherboard. Great connections outweighed the strain on the card considering the price I paid. Plus, I get 802.11ax connection from my PC to my ax router. It’s the first device in my house to utilize the new standard, so I was eager to try it. I’m not sure I would recommend this one over other big name brand cards, but if you can catch this on sale, I would recommend the purchase.

Pros: I must have read so many reviews on at least 15 different Wi-Fi Modem cards… I was at a point of not purchasing one! The majority had positive reviews, yet the negative experiences would turn me away. After surfing the web for nearly two weeks, I opted on this unit. I checked out the main website of EDUP, reviewed the specs there, and then looked them up on YouTube for additional reviews. With things checking out OK, I went ahead and made the purchase. Today, I installed the modem in the only slot left on my Mini-ATX (or whatever engineers call it today), a ASUS TUF B-450M Plus Gaming motherboard. The install was easy. I don’t have an extra PCI-E x1 or PCI-E x16 (3.0 for each). All I had left was a PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot. Asides from being able to comment on the Bluetooth (I don’t have any extra USB ports on the motherboard, and I have no idea how to re purpose a 10-1 COM pin to use as powersource), I can tell you about the modem itself: WORKED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX LIKE A CHARM!! Heck, I didn’t even have to install the driver to get it to run; it just did. Maybe because I updated the BIOS, or that all software from Microsoft is updated; I cannot say. I can say it is working just fine! We have 1.0 GBPS speed at home. I get close to that on my other computer. This newly built system didn’t come with built in Wi-Fi , which was my choice; I purchased a separate card in case of any updates in the future. I tested out today, and I hit over 500MBPS download, 43MBPS upload. And that’s with a wall and a second full-size bathroom between this machine (in my home office) and the modem. Overall Review: I’ll give an update in about a month, but I think it will work just fine. It does what I need it to do.

Pros: Don’t really have one. Cons: Won’t connect or stay connected on my newer PC. If I use the old 2017 driver is randomly drops connection. If I use the newer 2019 driver it won’t connect. Tried to use it on a PC downstairs. It barely gets a signal yet my Cisco usb WiFi device works fine. Put it on an old Windows 7 PC I have for mass storage and it seems to work fine. Overall Review: Skip it. Pay for a name brand.

Pros: Easy to install with proper connections Easy to install Drivers from intel’s website Easy to sync Bluetooth device (headphones) Cons: No complications Overall Review: Worked straight out of the box, Bluetooth device works with my SKULL CANDY wireless headphones i use for gaming. Improved on my Wireless connection using a 5G WPA-3 connection and very stable , no disconnections or low frequency, i highly recommend upgrading from a 2.4ghz WPA 1/2 to 2.4ghz 2.4g /5g/6g WPA-3. Still able to get great download speeds (with our ISP svc plan) of 11.7 Mbs per second. great on Streaming.

Pros: Although the product page says it only works for Windows 10/11, I works well without any need to install drivers on linux, specifically Arch Linux running kernel 5.18. Cons: I don’t get the best signal strength for wifi, although that could be due to where my PC is placed relative to my router. My DisplayPort and HDMI cables from my graphics card get in the way of the 2 attenas, although I was able to fix this by moving the cable’s specific slots. Overall Review: I don’t normally write reviews for products, but since none of the other reviews said anything about Linux, I’d thought I would write a review for fellow Linux enthusiasts. It’s a pretty good wifi adapter overall.
